Job Summary
This Data Lead position will serve as the central coordinator for our data initiatives, helping to manage the workload that would otherwise fall entirely on leadership. This person will be instrumental in helping with prioritization—determining which initiatives to tackle first, which ones can wait, and organizing the work in a logical sequence. They'll need to gather requirements from the CFO, merchant leads, and all the other stakeholders who are giving work direction, ultimately becoming the person who holds everything together as we build out this function. Hybrid: Up to 2 days/week onsite in Stillwater, MN Must be eligible for conversion to full-time Responsibilities
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build and eventually lead a data team
- Strong communication skills bridging technical and business audiences
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive experience in data management, data engineering, or data analytics
- Proven leadership experience coordinating data initiatives across business units
- Experience prioritizing competing data requests from executive leadership
- Retail or grocery industry experience strongly preferred
- Technical fluency with modern data platforms (Databricks, cloud DW)
