Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team on a contract basis in New York. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to support business processes and improve organizational efficiency. This is a 6+ month contract role with the potential for extension based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications and features based on business requirements.
Customize Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.
Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related issues and provide ongoing support.
Ensure data integrity and security compliance within the Salesforce platform.
Stay updated with Salesforce releases and new features to recommend improvements.
Document technical designs, configuration, and processes.
Required Qualifications:
9+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce declarative tools.
Experience with Salesforce integration tools and APIs (REST/SOAP).
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing rules.
Ability to write complex SOQL and SOSL queries.
Salesforce Developer Certification (Platform Developer I or II) preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Marketing Cloud is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployment.
Understanding of business processes in sales, marketing, or customer service.
