Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Onsite AJO & AEP Specialist to manage and optimize the customer journey and data strategies using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). This role involves hands-on implementation, orchestration, and troubleshooting of personalized experiences across channels using real-time data. You will work closely with marketing, data science, IT, and customer experience teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, maintain, and optimize journeys and campaigns within Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).

Leverage Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to build and maintain Real-Time Customer Profiles and Segments.

Translate marketing strategies into executable workflows using AJO.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data schemas, identities, and sources in AEP.

Design and implement use cases using AEP’s decisioning engine, data ingestion tools, and audience segmentation features.

Ensure proper integration of AEP and AJO with other platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, CRM systems).

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize journey performance, personalization accuracy, and data flow.

Maintain platform documentation, implementation best practices, and compliance with data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Train internal teams and stakeholders on AJO/AEP functionalities and workflows.

Qualifications:

4+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).

Strong understanding of customer data management, data modeling, and identity resolution.

Proficiency in real-time journey orchestration and experience delivery across channels.

Familiarity with Adobe Tags, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target is a plus.

Experience with JSON, APIs, and debugging tools.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Adobe certification (e.g., AEP Developer, AJO Business Practitioner) preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing Technology, Information Systems, or related field.

 

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of marketing lifecycle, data privacy, and consent management.

Hands-on experience with customer journey mapping and campaign execution.

Ability to analyze journey performance and optimize for conversion and engagement.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
