Description
The Department requires application development and Oracle database services to support its financial systems. This includes the development and maintenance of applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL. The selected contractor will also provide expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing application environments.
The Contractor will provide an experienced Application Development Analyst to:
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based financial applications.
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration processes to support application functionality and reporting requirements.
Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database packages.
Utilize Oracle Fusion Middleware for application deployment, security, and integration.
Ensure applications align with State of Florida accounting practices from a technical perspective.
Ensure applications meet data security and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with Department and regulatory standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in application development using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL.
Experience with Oracle Database development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware components (e.g., WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server)
Demonstrated experience ensuring PCI compliance in application development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
