RPA Leader/Director

Are you an accomplished leader with a passion for automation and emerging technologies? We're seeking an RPA Leader/Director to guide our high-performing teams and drive our automation strategy. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping our multi-year strategic vision for automation, with a particular focus on AI/ML, Generative AI, and RPA. You'll manage a significant team of technical personnel, fostering their growth and ensuring the delivery of high-impact solutions.

What You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams of 25-50 people, including a strong track record in hiring, mentoring, goal setting, performance reviews, and talent management.

  • Deep, demonstrable expertise in AI/ML, RPA, and Generative AI, with a solid understanding of automation platforms like UiPath and Automation Anywhere.

  • The ability to cast a compelling multi-year strategic vision for automation, coupled with a pragmatic approach to achieving measurable results.

  • A deep understanding of emerging AI technologies and their potential applications, especially within the healthcare industry. Hands-on experience is a plus.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, a willingness to challenge the status quo, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile environment.

  • Experience with lean startup methodologies and agile development practices.

  • Proven success in setting and managing operational and capital budgets, as well as overseeing procurement processes.

  • Exceptional contract negotiation skills for managing both labor and product vendors effectively.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying complex strategic and tactical objectives to diverse audiences.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to understand complex requirements, define advanced technical solutions, and troubleshoot issues.

  • A relentless focus on measuring and reporting the value, impact, and ROI of RPA solutions using data and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with process mapping/mining tools and low-code/no-code platforms.

  • Experience in Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), Retail Pharmacy, and/or Healthcare.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Master's degree (MBA, MS in a related field) preferred.

  • Certifications in related automation platforms preferred.
