Mandatory:
Container platform consolidation
Resque containerization
Responsibilities:
Building automation to consolidate container technologies and migrate microservices from ECS & Kubernetes to our golden platform (EKS/AKS).
Building automation to help us migrate our monolithic Ruby on Rails application to a containerized infrastructure built on EKS/AKS.
Participating in design/evaluation of new tools, techniques, and technologies.
Contributing to & building the architecture of our Cloud platform and its delivery.
Developing tools and software applications using Terraform, YAML, JavaScript, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash to grow our operational stack to the next lev.el
Requirements:
6+ years of professional technical experience.
4+ years of experience with scripting/programming using Java, Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, or equivalent.
Experience with building organizationally scalable CI/CD pipelines in tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipeline infrastructure at scale for tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
Experience building developer-centric shared services platforms.
Experience onboarding development teams to Docker, Kubernetes, and/or CI/CD.
Experience in Cloud Hosting with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud or equivalent.
Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or equivalent.
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS, or equivalent.
Experience with AWS Controllers for Kubernetes, Crossplane, or equivalent.
Experience with source control using Git with a solid foundation of branch strategies.
Experience deploying and operating immutable infrastructure.
Experience with OOP, Design Principles, REST
Experience with Unit and Integration Testing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
