Description
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team within the Semi-Conductors and Electric Component Manufacturing industry, located in Columbus, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, and supporting cloud infrastructure, contributing to the development of reliable and secure cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
Administer and optimize cloud platforms to ensure proper resource utilization, cost efficiency, and adherence to security best practices.
Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Utilize tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
Implement robust security measures to safeguard cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements.
Work closely with development and operations teams to facilitate smooth integration of applications with cloud services.
Use your skills in Atlassian Jira, Cloud Technologies, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Automation, AWS Technologies, Configuration Management, and Continuous Integration (CI).
Requirements
Possess proven experience in the Semi-Conductors or Electric Component Manufacturing industry
Prior experience working as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira
Advanced knowledge of Cloud Technologies
Familiarity with EO/IR systems
Experience in AB Testing
Proficient in Automation processes
Comprehensive understanding of AWS Technologies
Proficiency in Configuration Management
Experience in Continuous Integration (CI)
Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
