Bcforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Contractor/Vendor Data Engineer for an opportunity and it's a Remote Role.

Position Title: Contractor/Vendor Data Engineer

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 10 Months

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range $35- $38/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Summary:
* Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is a data team, sit within our platform.

* Key projects: This role will contribute across our team and other parts of the company and work with product and services data; Azure data factory ADLS with scope scripts and Kusto

* Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 99% heads down work, the FTE will get a request for data processing and break it down into individual tasks, present timeline and provide the tasks to the staff aug.

Experience with Azure Data Factory is considered a "nice to have" but not a strict requirement; general data engineering skills within the Microsoft tech stack are expected
General data engineering experience with the tech stack is also valued.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 3+ years experience with SQL experience data processing experience
2. Minimum 3+ years experience with Data Visualization
3. Minimum 3+ years experience with KQL
