DXP Selection & Implementation Oversight Lead
Overview:
Lead the end-to-end process for selecting and implementing a new Digital Experience Platform (DXP) for our client ensuring strategic alignment, technical fit, and successful partner onboarding by Q1 2026. This role manages governance, requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, and selection, followed by hands-on strategic oversight through early implementation.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Establish governance, decision rights, and evaluation frameworks for vendor selection.

  • Conduct stakeholder workshops to finalize and validate business and technical requirements.

  • Manage RFP creation, vendor shortlisting, scripted demos, and scoring.

  • Facilitate technical validation, TCO modeling, and evidence-based vendor recommendations.

  • Oversee contract execution and onboarding plan development.

  • Act as strategic custodian during implementation, ensuring adherence to requirements, strategic goals, and governance models.

  • Advocate for marketing, creative, UX, SEO/AEO, CRO, and partner needs in technical decisions.

  • Lead change management, training, and content governance programs.

  • Coordinate phased migration planning, risk mitigation, and analytics integration.

  • Maintain post-launch optimization backlog for continued improvement.



Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in DXP/CMS selection and implementation oversight.

  • Strong governance, vendor management, and technical validation skills.

  • Ability to bridge technical builds with marketing and partner adoption needs.

  • Expertise in change management, training delivery, and content governance.

  • Familiarity with higher-ed, multi-site environments, AI readiness, and integrations (Salesforce, GA4, BigQuery, DAM).
