Description
We are seeking an experienced Telephony Engineer to support multiple high-priority migration projects within an aggressive timeline. This role requires deep expertise in Cisco Calling and Microsoft Teams, as we transition from Cisco to Teams for enterprise telephony and conferencing. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on SME who can work independently, make recommendations, and collaborate with the existing migration team to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute telephony migration projects, including:
- Migrating enterprise calling from Cisco to Microsoft Teams
- Transitioning conference room systems from Cisco to Teams
- Assisting with contact center migration from legacy solution to Amazon Connect
- Configure and manage Cisco telephony components (Unity, call recording, dashboards)
- Support Teams telephony implementation and integration
- Collaborate with internal SMEs and migration team to share workload and provide technical leadership
- Provide recommendations and best practices throughout the migration process
- Assist with post-migration cleanup and troubleshooting as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Proven SME-level experience in Cisco Calling (Unity, call recording, dashboards)
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Teams telephony
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills / Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with AWS Connect (Amazon Connect) for contact center migration
- Hardware provisioning experience (Polycom phones)
- Knowledge of Conditional Access policies
- Familiarity with Cisco Unity administration

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $80.00/hr.
