Description
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to oversee technical support operations and champion efficient system management for our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role requires a combination of hands-on problem-solving and leadership capabilities to ensure smooth workflows and effective collaboration across departments. Ideal candidates will have expertise in cloud technologies and automation tools, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions that align with organizational goals.
Lead cross-functional collaboration to address challenges and improve operational efficiency.
Advocate for customer needs by managing expectations and delivering exceptional service.
Support change management initiatives, including documentation and issue tracking.
Drive the adoption of automation tools and practices to enhance system reliability.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
Participate in leadership meetings to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Monitor and optimize cloud-based systems, particularly within AWS environments.
Facilitate team enablement and training to ensure consistent technical proficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-based infrastructure.
Strong background in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
Hands-on expertise with configuration tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
Familiarity with change management processes and documentation.
Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts and solutions.
