Role: Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect
Location: Wilmington, DE
Experience: 10+ Years
Domain: Banking & Payments (Mandatory)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect with a strong background in designing scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience modernizing monolithic systems into microservices and working in complex banking or payment environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end architecture for large-scale enterprise solutions
- Drive monolith-to-microservices transformation (Strangler Fig Pattern)
- Design event-driven and cloud-native architectures
- Implement microservices patterns (CQRS, Saga, API Gateway, Circuit Breaker, etc.)
- Ensure architectural governance, security, and performance standards
- Handle distributed transactions and consistency models (ACID vs BASE)
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and lead architectural decision-making
Required Skills:
- 10+ years in Enterprise / Solution Architecture
- Strong experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Hands-on expertise in event-driven architecture
- Deep understanding of ACID vs BASE principles
- Mandatory experience in Banking or Payment systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
- Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps tools
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
