We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Cybersecurity Engineer for our ANSP Program in Dallas, TX. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to help us secure critical aircraft, ground, and communication systems, with a particular focus on network, systems, cloud, and PKI security. This role will offer you the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge advancements in aviation cybersecurity.
Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer.
Location: Onsite Dallas, TX.
Duration: Fulltime.
Mandatory Skills: Infrastructure Security Consulting, Zscaler, Palo Alto User ID, App- ID and PKI experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain ANSP security, focusing on PKI, VPN, and zero-trust solutions for both aircraft and ground systems.
  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure (Windows and Linux) supporting cybersecurity systems.
  • Configure and manage network devices such as firewalls, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
  • Manage cryptographic keys and digital certificates in compliance with industry standards.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents, including forensic analysis and remediation.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure secure and efficient operations.
  • Stay up to date on the latest advancements in aircraft IT and network security.
  • Secure cloud environments and design secure cloud architectures for security log analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive security posture assessments for ANSP ground systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with expertise in network security, cloud, and PKI.
  • Hands-on Skills: Proficiency in firewalls, VPNs, IDPS, EDR, vulnerability scanning, and server security for both Windows and Linux.
  • Cloud & PKI Focus: Expertise in cloud security (AWS or Azure) and experience in managing PKI infrastructure, including certificate lifecycle management and key management.
  • Security Expertise: Ability to design secure architectures and conduct vulnerability assessments for systems and networks.
  • Aviation Security Contribution: Understanding of FAA aircraft network security and communication protocols between aircraft and ground systems.
Tools and Technologies:
  • Network Security: Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Snort, Suricata, Zscaler, Wireshark
  • System Security: Microsoft Active Directory, CrowdStrike Falcon, Tenable Nessus, Ansible, Puppet
  • Cloud Security: AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, AWS IAM, Azure Key Vault
  • PKI: Microsoft AD CS, OpenSSL, Hardware HSMs, AWS KMS
Performance Expectations:
  • Customer-centric security breach resolution to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adherence to SLAs and timely resolution of security incidents.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Annual Salary: $60,000 to $135,000.
