Job role: Network / Email Security Engineer
Location: Frisco, TX Or Auburn Hills, MI
Duration: 6 months+
Job Description:
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an organization's network infrastructure, including email systems, to ensure reliable communication and data exchange. This role involves a combination of technical expertise in networking, security, and email systems, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Skills\Experience-
Email System Management:
- Managing and troubleshooting email security systems, ensuring email deliverability, and implementing security measures to protect against spam and malware.
- Experience with email servers (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Google Workspace) and email security solutions.
Network Security:
- Implementing and maintaining security protocols, proxies, and intrusion detection systems to protect the network from cyber threats.
- Knowledge of WAF, DDoS, IDS\IPS, Proxy systems, and security best practices.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and email protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP).
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Identifying and resolving network and email-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitoring network performance, conducting regular maintenance, and implementing upgrades to ensure optimal performance and availability.
