Description
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer I (Contractor) to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for developing, validating, and deploying machine learning models while contributing to innovative product and application solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills, expertise in machine learning, and a passion for working with data-driven technologies to enhance business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and refine machine learning algorithms tailored for specific products and applications.
Develop robust data pipelines, including processes for data ingestion, validation, cleaning, and monitoring.
Train machine learning models, validate their accuracy, and deploy them into production environments.
Contribute to proof-of-concept solutions and conduct studies to inform future product or application development.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including evaluation plans, white papers, presentations, and formal reports.
Test and evaluate solutions by performing case studies, generating test results, and documenting findings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of machine learning solutions into existing systems.
Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Research emerging technologies and methodologies to continuously improve processes and solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience with machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and statistical analysis tools.
Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
Familiarity with data pipeline technologies and cloud platforms, such as Kafka, Spark, and Docker.
1-3 years of relevant experience in software development and machine learning model deployment.
Ability to create and manage technical documentation, including evaluation plans and reports.
Knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques to oversee machine learning models in production.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support innovative solutions.
