Program Delivery Manager – Pharmaceutical Industry - CRO Domain (REMOTE - EST)
We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the pharmaceutical Industry. This is a Remote position.
Job summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Program Delivery Manager with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry with very good experience with the CRO (Contract Research Organization) domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large-scale IT delivery programs, managing cross functional teams, and driving successful outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments with major pharmaceutical companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of programs within the Pharmaceutical - CRO domain, ensuring alignment with customer goals and business outcomes.
- Act as the single point of contact for the customer, maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders and the delivery team and ensuring transparent communication.
- Oversee multiple project teams (onsite and offshore) to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including business, technology, and vendor partners.
- Drive program governance, reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies relevant to the pharmaceutical industry to enhance delivery efficiency and innovation.
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and coordination across all program phases.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to meet delivery and performance goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- 8+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry with a focus on CRO domain — mandatory.
- 8–10 years of experience in Project/Program Management experience.
- 5+ years as a Program Manager delivering enterprise-scale initiatives.
- Proven experience and manage a team including both onsite/offshore resources from a delivery standpoint.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, coordination
and executive reporting skills. - Demonstrated ability to manage delivery for technology-driven programs.
- Familiarity with or exposure to AI tools and solutions in the pharmaceutical space.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
Other Details:
- Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in NC or EST time zone).
- Start Date: Tentatively November 1st week, 2025.
- Contract Duration: 1 year (with strong possibility of extension for 2+ years).
- Position Type: C2C or W-2.
- Rate: Market rate.
