Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a User Experience Design Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to use SAP business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
Expectations and Tasks:
Design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing. Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Facilitate the client's product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products. Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs. Clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients. Work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications. Collaborate and communicate closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval. Resolve user pain points through great design. Act as a solid performer with strong communication skills, proactively building relationships and deepening influence at the team level.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $115,066 - $185,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
