As an experienced Test Integration Software Engineer within the Flight Software Integration Team, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate, test, and verify Flight Software (FSW) and software systems. Your key responsibilities will include: Understanding various test environments, such as the CPS FSWTB, NGCTB, and PIL, including their configurations, test tools, and processes. Driving improvements to end-to-end scripts and simulation updates. Developing and integrating utilities, test environment frameworks, and tools to promote automation and regression testing capabilities. Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Navigation Guidance and Control, core software development, and Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) teams. Ensuring that appropriate test, integration standards, and processes are defined and followed to maintain high-quality outcomes. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve project goals.

Basic Qualifications

Experience with Software integration in a Hardware in the loop environment
Experience trouble shooting simulation issues on an HWIL and PIL.
Experience tracing software/system requirement to test procedures and test steps
Experience developing and maintaining simulation automation scripts
Experience with automation and regression test concept
Experience with embedded systems including HW and SW components
Technical experience with complex systems such as aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft
Experience with CPS testing environments for software development, including simulated testing and hardware-in-the-loop
Previous experience with formal software qualification/certification efforts
Prior experience with integration and test of embedded software system
Current DoD Secret clearance

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
