Currently, we are searching for a Telecom Engineer to join our team ON SITE, in Dallas, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide basic troubleshooting and support for the Avaya Softphone application.
- Assist with configuring and activating iPhones, iPads, and mobile hotspots.
- Support the setup and activation of Apple mobile devices using tools like Microsoft Intune and MS Authenticator (training provided).
- Help monitor and support video conferencing systems (e.g., Cisco Webex, Cisco Meeting Server).
- Assist in resolving common video conferencing issues, such as connectivity or audio/video quality.
- Support the setup and maintenance of conference room AV equipment.
- Help manage mobile device inventory and deployments (primarily iPhones) following company guidelines.
- Learn and support mobile device management tasks, including app installation and basic security settings.
- Assist in supporting iOS applications and mobile features.
- Utilize remote support tools such as Bomgar to securely access and troubleshoot end-user systems and applications.
- Provide general IT support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
- Document common support tasks and procedures to help build internal knowledge resources.
- Work with senior IT team members to resolve more complex issues and assist on projects.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation as needed (with guidance from senior staff).
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 1+ years of experience in a help desk, IT support, or related technical role (internships or school projects count).
- Basic understanding of computer networks and mobile device functionality.
- Interest in learning tools like Microsoft Intune, Cisco Webex, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with iPhones, iPads, and iOS (personal or professional experience).
- Willingness to learn IT tools such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or ServiceNow.
- Good communication skills and a desire to help users with technical problems.
- Ability to follow procedures and document work clearly.
- Exposure to mobile device management (MDM) tools.
- Experience with video conferencing or AV setup.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), or Microsoft certifications are a plus—but not required.
