Program Manager

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Program Manager for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be a year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:

The main function of this role is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in fields such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, product roll-out, or any other non-IT based project.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

      • Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
      • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
      • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
      • Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.


      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
      • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
      • 4 years of experience required.
      • 4 overall years of experience in the field.
      • BA in Business Administration or a related field (finance, accounting, analytics) is required to be eligible for this role, or PMI or PMP preferred.
      • Career-oriented person is preferred.
      • Data-oriented mindset/Analytics.
      • Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and relationship building.
      • Minimum 4 years of experience with Data Analytics/mining.
      • Minimum 3 years of experience with Executive presence/articulation.
      • Minimum 2 years of experience with people management.


      Preferred:

      • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
      • Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
      • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
      • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
      • Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
