Job Details

Type: 12+ Month Contract

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in RF Optimization for LTE/VoLTE/5G networks
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on 5G optimization experience (Sub6, DSS, mmWave, VONR, NSA/SA)
  • Recent experience (within the last 2 years) with a major RAN vendor s platform
  • Must be open to occasional travel if required (with prior approval)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform RF performance and optimization tasks independently per project plans
  • Analyse KPIs, troubleshoot network quality issues, and drive performance improvements
  • Implement and tune parameters for LTE and 5G radio networks
  • Use tools for performance monitoring, trending, reporting, and deep-dive troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot drop calls, throughput degradation, access failures, handover issues, etc.
  • Work with OSS and configuration tools for alarm management and parameter updates
  • Conduct trace analysis and drive test log review using TEMS, Nemo, RAN Advisor, X-CAL, etc.
  • Optimize multi-layer clusters (5G/LTE/UMTS) and evaluate new feature performance
  • Engage in Layer 3 log analysis and recommend parameter adjustments

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior exposure to T-Mobile tools such as OneData, Truecall, ActixOne, Atoll, Asset, IMNOS, RFDS
  • Familiar with TDD and FDD parameters and XLM plan execution
  • Experience in site health checks, alarm resolution, and system resets (eNB/gNB/RRH)

Education & Skills:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, macros), PowerPoint proficiency
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
