About the Opportunity:

SNI Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer (Model Based Systems Engineer) for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This role offers a chance to join a highly innovative engineering team focused on designing, developing, and integrating complex system solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally on multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate, and manage system and subsystem requirements and architectures.
  
• Utilize systems engineering methodologies to ensure optimal system integration and performance.
  
• Devise and evaluate alternative system approaches, architectures, and operational concepts to optimize cost, performance, and risk mitigation.
  
• Conduct analysis, simulation, and design activities from concept through product delivery and support.
  
• Manage design configuration data and design risks throughout the development lifecycle.
  
• Perform system requirement definition, allocation, and traceability using tools such as DOORs, Clearcase, ClearQuest, Jira, and Jama.
  
• Support system performance reviews, capacity planning, and problem resolution efforts.
  
• Maintain awareness of current developments in systems engineering and apply best practices.
  
• Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively within deadlines and budget.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering or a related technical field.
  
• 4-6 years of relevant systems engineering experience (or equivalent).
  
• Experience with shipboard integrated communications is preferred.
  
• Active security clearance is a plus.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
  
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Proficiency with systems engineering tools (DOORs, Clearcase, ClearQuest, Jira, Jama).
