Role- Datacenter manager
Location- Dallas, TX
The Data Center PM is responsible for overseeing the receiving, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management of hardware assets in client's data centers. This role ensures accurate data entry in asset management systems, coordinates asset logistics, and upholds governance standards related to asset security, disposal, and reporting. The PM also plays a critical role in identifying and resolving discrepancies, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors is essential to maintain smooth and compliant asset operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive hardware deliveries, update asset management systems, and ensure proof of delivery is documented accurately.
Monitor and flag discrepancies in receiving or in-transit orders, escalating issues for timely resolution.
Maintain real-time asset location and status accuracy in client s asset database.
Manage the warehouse/stockroom environment and enforce client s policies for storage, security, and asset governance.
Lead and support periodic physical audits of data center hardware and parts.
Coordinate and track asset movements between data center locations, including spares and RMA-related shipments.
Manage asset returns and disposition processes, ensuring EOL assets are properly recorded and disposed of per client s ITAD policies.
Review and assist with resolution of asset-related incidents and support tickets.
Create reports and dashboards to provide visibility into asset inventory, movements, and chain of custody.
Train team members on best practices and process improvements, while serving as a policy enforcer and advocate for asset management standards.
Run Quarterly Business Reviews.

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
