Role: Snowflake Architect
Location: Tampa, FL/Dallas, TX/ Jersey city, NJ
Duration: Long-term
Responsibilities:
- Architect and design scalable data solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data strategies and requirements.
- Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines to integrate data from various sources into Snowflake.
- Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Develop data modeling standards (e.g., star/snowflake schema) and maintain documentation.
- Provide best practices for performance tuning, data partitioning, clustering, and caching in Snowflake.
- Lead migration efforts from legacy platforms to Snowflake.
- Monitor and optimize query performance and resource utilization.
- Mentor and support junior data engineers and architects.
- Stay current with Snowflake updates and other emerging data technologies.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Snowflake.
- Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, including Virtual Warehouses, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, and Data Sharing.
- Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools like dbt, Matillion, Talend, Informatica, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and big data technologies.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
