Role Overview
The Systems Architect for Ansible Automation Platform is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
This role bridges business requirements and technical execution, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient automation across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect end-to-end automation solutions using Ansible Automation Platform, aligning with business and IT strategies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze existing infrastructure, and identify automation opportunities.
Develop, test, and maintain Ansible Playbooks, roles, and reusable automation content.
Lead the adoption of automation best practices, including code modularity, version control, and execution environments.
Integrate Ansible Automation Platform with other IT systems, tools, and cloud platforms as needed.
Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development, DevOps, and operations teams.
Document architectures, workflows, and automation standards.
Stay current with Red Hat Ansible advancements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience architecting and implementing solutions with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and enterprise IT environments.
Proficiency in developing advanced Ansible Playbooks, roles, and modules.
Experience with automation execution environments, content navigator, and automation controller.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and infrastructure as code principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum of a 4-year degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation Platform.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid cloud automation.
Experience in DevOps, security automation, or large-scale IT operations.
Experience in financial services industry
Experience on technology and infrastructure teams
Experience in Linux/UNIX system administration
Experience with PostgreSQL administration
Experience writing python modules
Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk
Experience with Container technologies (Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker)

The pay range for this position is $73.68 - $73.68/hr.
