Job Summary
Provides effective manufacturing engineering support to develop, direct, and implement the systems, technologies, processes, and methods used for the manufacturing and qualification of our products with particular focus on the mechanical, electrical, and machined components and assemblies.
Primary Responsibilities
Utilizes key process indicators such as the voice of the customer, first pass yield data, inspection and audit results to analyze and drive the process and improve efficiency
Usage of risk analysis tools to identify and to mitigate potential process risks
Lead the team in root cause analysis to identify true root cause and mitigate recurrences for quality escapes
Participate in product development and launch activities

Job Details
Bachelor of Science degree in the Engineering field, or equivalent of eight or more years in a progressively responsible manufacturing engineering role
Minimum of two years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role
Strong PC skills including Adobe, MRP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
An understanding of standard manufacturing systems, such as cost estimation and analysis, capacity planning, line balancing, lean manufacturing, PFMEAs, process mapping, and auditing
Experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry
Six Sigma Green belt or higher
Strong background in precision machining, brazing, and welding standards
Must be able to work with ITAR products and related data without restriction
