Job Title: Pega Lead System Architect (LSA)
Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite 5 days a week)


Job Description:

We are seeking a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) with 15+ years of IT experience and deep expertise in PEGA platform upgrades and database migration from DB2 to PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will lead design, development, and modernization initiatives, ensuring system scalability, performance, and adherence to enterprise standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end PEGA application upgrade process, including planning, design, execution, and validation.

  • Oversee database migration efforts from DB2 to PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.

  • Define and enforce architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices across the PEGA platform.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless solutions.

  • Provide technical mentorship and direction to junior developers and architects.

  • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and deployment optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of total IT experience, with at least 10+ years in Pega PRPC.

  • Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) is required.

  • Strong experience in Pega upgrade projects (e.g., from 7.x/8.x to latest versions).

  • Proven hands-on experience with database migration, specifically DB2 to PostgreSQL.

  • Expertise in Pega integrations, REST/SOAP services, data pages, and case management.

  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams.
