Scrum Master / Project Coordinator

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

We are looking for a Junior Scrum Master / Project Coordinator to support engineering and operations teams within a leading media organization. This is a hybrid contract role running from September through February, with the potential for extension. You will report directly to the hiring manager and be responsible for facilitating Agile workflows, managing team backlogs, and coordinating project activities.

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master for 3 small engineering/ops squads (2-4 team members each)


• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives


• Maintain and update Jira boards, backlogs, and user stories


• Coordinate basic project-related tasks and timelines


• Work closely with squad leads to manage incoming requests and prioritize work


• Assist in grooming and filtering the request queue


• Support delivery of a large-scale ATS E3 upgrade project across multiple stations


• Provide regular updates to leadership and support smooth sprint execution

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments


• Hands-on experience with Jira and project coordination tools


• Strong understanding of Agile workflows and Scrum methodologies


• Experience working with technical or development teams


• Excellent organizational and communication skills


• Proven ability to take feedback and run with it


• High attention to detail and proactive attitude

Preferred/Bonus Experience

• Experience in media or broadcast distribution environments


• Familiarity with change management practices


• Exposure to technical project work related to infrastructure or engineering operations

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $62-72/per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
