Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced IoT Platform Engineer with deep expertise in network routing, SD-Access (SDA), and IoT connectivity frameworks to join our on-site team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and validating lab frameworks that connect IoT endpoints to enterprise network environments, ensuring robust performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop lab frameworks to connect IoT endpoints to campbranch networks
  • Certify hardware, software features, and endpoint functionalities
  • Identify and simulate various communication scenarios between end and edge devices
  • Execute or oversee testing of data collection, aggregation, and analytics capabilities
  • Configure and test Cisco SD-Access (SDA), 802.1x, NAC (Network Admission Control), and TrustSec technologies
  • Work with Cisco IOS-XE, micro/macro segmentation, and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for network automation and management
  • Collaborate with network engineers, cross-functional teams, and management
  • Prepare documentation, test plans, and reports as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of overall experience in Networking/IoT
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in network routing and WAN technologies
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-Access (SDA) and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
  • Proficiency in 802.1x, NAC, TrustSec, and Cisco IOS-XE
  • Deep understanding of IoT communication frameworks, data flow, and device behavior
  • Experience with segmentation techniques (micro/macro) and securing IoT endpoints
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
  • Certifications in Cisco technologies (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a plus
  • Experience working in lab/testing environments for hardware/software integration
