Summary:

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University
    At least 7 years of practical application of mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related mechanical facilities systems
    At least 5 years of design project delivery processes experience
    Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
    Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience

Job Responsibilities:

As the facilities Mechanical Engineering Owner s Representative, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our clients manufacturing in Boise, ID. You and the other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in this role you would work on the client s behalf to review designs, specs and drawings provide feedback and comment.

Technical engineering responsibilities include editing client specifications, design and oversight for piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust, and process chemicals and gasses in some of the most complex, densely packed industrial facilities on the planet. The design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with client and site personnel, driving design and construction documents through the review process with a team.
You will work on projects that enable the heart of our clients manufacturing. You and the other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure mechanical systems.

As the mechanical representative on a multi-discipline design team, your primary duty will be to review design packages consisting of P&IDs, layout drawings, details, and equipment plans followed by review of submittals, RFIs, and construction documents.
