Title: Senior AWS/Security DevOps Engineer
Location: Fort Worth, TX (100% Onsite 5 Days a Week)
Position Type: Contract
Max Pay Rate: $55/hr on W2
Note: No subcontracting | No W2 applicants considered
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS/Security DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and DevSecOps practices. This is a fully onsite role in Fort Worth, TX from Day 1, supporting security-focused automation and cloud engineering initiatives. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team working on AWS security governance, automation, and infrastructure deployment in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Design, implement, and manage AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs) and AWS Config rules following best security practices.

Develop and maintain IQ scripts for validating security configurations using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.

Enhance and maintain the AWS Landing Zone automation scripts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

Collaborate with AWS ProServe and internal IT stakeholders to align cloud security configurations with organizational policies.

Integrate security and configuration changes into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Helm.

Troubleshoot and resolve security, configuration, and deployment issues in AWS environments.

Maintain compliance through effective change management, documentation, and traceability.

Drive the development of internal security best practices and documentation for ongoing DevSecOps operations.

7+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps, with a strong focus on AWS.

In-depth knowledge of:

AWS Organizations, IAM, SCPs, Config, Security Hub

Kubernetes, AWS networking, and security policies
-
AWS cost optimization strategies
Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, etc.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK
Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a distributed team
