Location: Fort Worth, TX (100% Onsite 5 Days a Week)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS/Security DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and DevSecOps practices. This is a fully onsite role in Fort Worth, TX from Day 1, supporting security-focused automation and cloud engineering initiatives. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team working on AWS security governance, automation, and infrastructure deployment in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs) and AWS Config rules following best security practices.

  • Develop and maintain IQ scripts for validating security configurations using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.

  • Enhance and maintain the AWS Landing Zone automation scripts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

  • Collaborate with AWS ProServe and internal IT stakeholders to align cloud security configurations with organizational policies.

  • Integrate security and configuration changes into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Helm.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve security, configuration, and deployment issues in AWS environments.

  • Maintain compliance through effective change management, documentation, and traceability.

  • Drive the development of internal security best practices and documentation for ongoing DevSecOps operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps, with a strong focus on AWS.

  • In-depth knowledge of:

    • AWS Organizations, IAM, SCPs, Config, Security Hub

    • Kubernetes, AWS networking, and security policies

    • AWS cost optimization strategies

  • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, etc.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a distributed team
