Personnel Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in AI, Data Science, or Software Engineering, including a strong understanding of the Data ecosystem.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud architecture design and operations.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and/or GitLab.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure, automation tools, and scripting languages like Python and Bash.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools, including:
• AWS Bedrock, SageMaker
• Transformer models (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, LangChain, LlamaIndex)
• TensorFlow, PyTorch
• Experience in fine-tuning LLMs and working with open-source models.
• Knowledge of AI design patterns and best practices.
• Strong background in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies, including Scaled Agile.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams and lead change initiatives.
• Familiarity with government cloud compliance frameworks, such as FedRAMP, FISMA, etc.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Preferred: Holder of industry-recognized certifications in AI, cloud, or security domains.

• Instrument AI systems for observability and controllability.
• Monitor AI performance and implement security measures.
• Analyze and optimize system behavior through fine-tuning and performance evaluation.
• Automate AI deployments and operations using modern DevOps practices.
• Ensure AI system security via standard methodologies and routine security audits.
• Manage, measure, and improve behavior of AI systems through continuous improvement practices.
