Job Title: AWS Solution Architect Cloud Migration & Application Modernization

Location: Onsite US (Philadelphia, PA) Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our Pre-Sales team, working closely with the Sales organization to design and deliver innovative solutions for Cloud Migration and Application Modernization programs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales teams to understand client requirements and craft compelling technical proposals and solution architectures.
• Lead technical discussions with customers, demonstrating thought leadership in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and modernization strategies.
• Design end-to-end solutions for migrating workloads to the cloud and modernizing legacy applications using microservices, containers, and serverless architectures.
• Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts to articulate value propositions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on best practices, cost optimization, and security in cloud environments.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to ensure innovative and competitive solutions.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and contribute to deal closures through technical validation and solution assurance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience:
• 10+ years in IT with at least 4 years in Cloud Architecture and Application Modernization.
• Proven experience in Pre-Sales or Solution Consulting roles.
• Technical Expertise:
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with migration tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security frameworks.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent oratory, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills to engage with C-level executives and technical teams.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification
