Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned IBM BAW Cloud Migration Architect to lead the transition of legacy workflow applications to IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) on Red Hat OpenShift. This is a high-impact role focused on modernizing enterprise-grade business process solutions.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Assess existing on-prem IBM BAW environments, including case solutions, process applications, and data.
Develop comprehensive migration strategies and detailed execution plans.
Install and configure CP4BA on Red Hat OpenShift.
Migrate BAW artifacts (process apps, toolkits, case solutions) to Business Automation Studio.
Automate migration and configuration tasks using Shell/Python scripting.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure seamless deployment.
Required Skills:
15+ years as a Technical Architect with deep IBM BAW experience.
Hands-on experience with IBM BAW 24.x and CP4BA migrations.
Strong proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Database administration experience (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server).
Familiarity with LDAP for authentication/authorization.
Scripting experience (Shell, Python).
Preferred:
Financial services experience.
Experience with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD in OpenShift environments.
