Creative Writer, SEO

We are seeking a skilled Creative Writer with expertise in SEO to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in creative writing along with proven experience in optimizing content for search engines in an enterprise-level setting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging and SEO-friendly content across various platforms and channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with SEO strategies and business objectives.
• Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform content creation and optimization.
• Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, headers, and URL structures.
• Utilize tools such as Screaming Frog to identify technical SEO issues and opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to adapt SEO strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in creative writing and copywriting
• Demonstrated experience in SEO within an enterprise-level environment
• Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices
• Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog
• Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
