Power BI Developer

Location: Miramar, FL / Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Our client is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our growing team. This role focuses exclusively on developing interactive and insightful Power BI reports and dashboards using Planview s data model. We are NOT looking for a data engineer the ideal candidate should be proficient in Power BI report development, with Planview experience as a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on Planview data.
  • Work closely with business and PMO stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
  • Leverage Power BI to build interactive, user-friendly visualizations that align with business objectives.
  • Utilize Planview s data model effectively to create tailored reports for portfolio, resource, and project management insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and ease of use in all deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and Power BI service.
  • Ability to work with existing data models (no need for data engineering).
  • Experience collaborating with business users and translating requirements into reporting solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Planview (Planview Enterprise One or Portfolios) is a major plus.
  • Prior experience in a PMO, project management, or enterprise reporting environment is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
