Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects.
  • Contribute to coding, reviewing, and debugging as a hands-on leader.
  • Oversee sprint planning, backlog management, and daily standups to maintain project momentum.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system uptime and operational readiness.
  • Act as the main escalation point for technical issues and blockers.
  • Encourage continuous improvement in development practices and system architecture.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in software development with expertise in React, Node.js, and SQL-based databases.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and guiding technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD processes.
  • Ability to ensure secure development practices within regulatory frameworks.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in financial services, particularly in banking or fintech environments.
  • Experience in mentoring junior developers and leading agile teams.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code practices.
