Job Title: User Acceptance Testers
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite)
Duration: 12 Months


Position Summary:

A government-affiliated technology program is seeking User Acceptance Testers (UAT) with at least 5 years of experience to support a major system implementation. This role involves translating business requirements into detailed test scenarios, executing test plans, identifying and tracking defects, and ensuring successful integration and implementation. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with software development lifecycles, integrations, and quality assurance best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive test case scenarios and maintain traceability from requirements to tests.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute test scenarios and coordinate end-to-end testing with multiple vendors.

  • Log and assess defects accurately, participate in defect triage, and track issues through resolution and retesting.

  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, business analysts, and subject matter experts for smooth implementation and issue resolution.

  • Work closely with QA managers and implementation leads to resolve testing challenges and mitigate project risks.

  • Contribute to the creation of detailed test plans that ensure broad coverage and on-time execution.

  • Exhibit strong organizational, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of software testing and UAT experience.

  • Previous experience working with government agencies (local, state, or federal) is preferred.

  • Experience with State-Based Marketplaces (SBMs) is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Visio, and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
