Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, a strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving defects.
Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM).
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, and project teams to ensure product quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Support automation efforts using tools such as Selenium, Tosca, or Cypress (if applicable).
- Prepare test summary reports and provide test metrics to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual testing and exposure to test automation.
- Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail).
- Familiarity with SQL for backend data validation.
- Basic understanding of APIs and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
