Position: Batch Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6+ months

Mode of Interview: Video

Our client is seeking a client-facing remote Application Batch Developer / Designer with a completed bachelor's degree, along with healthcare and/or insurance industry experience handling large datasets within SQL, and Oracle Databases (DB), and 5+ years' experience developing/designing in Embedded C, Linux, RHEL, JSON, Visual Studio Code and supporting cURL (Client URL) systems.

Job Description:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, or equivalent work experience

5 years of experience making changes to moderately complex batch business applications using C

5 years of experience in SQL, preferably embedded in C and using an Oracle Database

5 years of experience using Linux

Experience with shell scripting

Experience using CURL and RESTful interfacing

Experience with JSON

Working knowledge of a software development life cycle

Experience with Visual Studio Code or other IDE, including debugger tools

Experience with Git or other versioning software

Experience creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, for example design and testing documents

Experience working in a team environment, supporting a client

Experience developing and executing regression testing strategies is preferable

Experienced problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills
