Description

Robert Half is seeking a senior software engineer for a growing engineering firm in the Covington, LA area. This is a permanent (hybrid 50/50 remote and onsite) role offering competitive compensation, great benefits and bonus incentives. In this role you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain innovative applications that meet the needs of our clients and exceed industry standards. This role requires a strong foundation in .NET Core development along with proficiency in Angular or React.

Responsibilities:

Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Blazor ensuring high performance and scalability. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to translate design wireframes and business requirements into efficient and robust front-end solutions. Implement best practices for code quality, including testing, code reviews, and documentation. Utilize .NET technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and C# to integrate front-end components with backend services and databases. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth user experience across various devices and browsers. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in web development, continuously enhancing skills and sharing knowledge with the team. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to entry level developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a React.js developer with a deep understanding of React ecosystem and component-based architecture. Solid proficiency in .NET framework with hands-on experience in ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and C# programming. Strong SQL skills are required Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles. Experience with version control systems such as Git and proficiency in Agile development methodologies. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

- Familiar with appropriate standards and techniques used during the Software Development Life Cycle process (SDLC, security) and applies them appropriately

- .NET Core and Blazor programing experience at a senior level

- Logical data modeling design and implementation

- May work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously with various team members and/or other groups both internally and externally

- Participates in peer code reviews

- Object oriented unit testing, performance tuning, coding, and design

- Complete such other duties as may be assigned by management

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

- Completes proper unit testing and software code written (including automated unit testing)

- Research, extraction and entry of complex data

- Completes test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software
