Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Data Analyst for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be a year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Source and QC data for semi-annual meetings with video game publishers and developers.
• Convert semi-annual data into specified charts and build and QC semi-annual publisher-specific PowerPoint decks with data.
• Help prepare internal deliverables including business plans, partner snapshots, partner report cards, and title-level launch reports.
• Engage with data services (both self-help and via engagement with internal data teams) in sourcing and building monthly publisher reports in Excel and PowerPoint utilizing Adobe Customer Journey Analytics and PowerBI.
• Create report cards on business performance for video game publishers and maintain stakeholder reports, ensuring timely and comprehensive communication.
• Support eCommerce Partner Managers in providing ad hoc data to publishers, working with our data and analytics support team where self-serve data is not possible.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Data Handling Skills: Highly proficient in Excel and data modeling with a strong ability to automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
• Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills to identify fundamental business drivers, uncover key elements, and translate data into actionable insights.
• Highly Detailed and Quality-Focused: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate and polished reports.
• Thoughtful Process Design: Skilled in designing simple and effective processes for complex data sets, ensuring streamlined operations and quality deliverables.
• Proactive Development: Continuously seeks opportunities to improve reporting, automate processes, and refine data presentations for clarity and impact.
• Agility in Ambiguity: Confidently adjust with evolving reporting needs and manage varying demands from stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• PowerPoint Proficiency: Able to effectively build data-based PowerPoint slides with charts and graphs that support an effective data-driven story.
• Tools Proficiency: Learn and utilize tools like Adobe Customer Journey Analytics and other relevant analytics platforms.
• Effective Communication: Prepares clear, accurate, and understandable written text, spanning meeting recaps, emails, reports, and professional or general correspondence.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve reporting and processes.
• Years of Experience Required: 4 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Nice to have, not required. Data experience is more valuable.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain practical experience in pulling, curating, and transforming data, ideally with a focus on actionable business insights rather than just technical database administration.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and meeting deadlines.
• Minimum 4 years experience with Excel.
• Minimum 4 years experience with data analytics, ideally knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics for data analysis.
• Minimum 4 years experience with Power BI.
