Job: Senior QE Delivery Manager

Location: Vancouver, BC(Onsite)

Duration/Term: Long Term Contract

 

Role Objective

  • The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) will lead the delivery of QE services for the client, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement in engineering maturity across agile product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement & Governance:
  • Overall Test Governance
  • Business Reviews
  • Serve as the primary delivery contact for client stakeholders.
  • Manage Risk and dependencies for the program deliveries
  • Lead quarterly and monthly governance reviews, including utilization, forecasting, resource gap and delivery scorecards.
  • Ensure alignment with business goals and transformation roadmap.

Operational Oversight:

  • Monitor productivity and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Oversee incident management and root cause analysis across supported applications.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage tech leadership to create transformation on quality engineering
  • Support career development and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.

Transformation Enablement:

  • Continuous improvement plan
  • Resource planning
  • Support resource planning
  • Identify budget vs planned for resources

Reporting & Metrics:

  • Generate executive dashboards and delivery scorecards for internal and client leadership.
  • Create Executive Status report
  • Track KPIs including SLA adherence, defect leakage, and automation coverage.

Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years in software delivery or QE roles, with 5+ years in service delivery leadership.
  • Experience managing largescale QA/QE programs for retail or digital clients.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, test automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or master s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or ITIL are a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, and CI/CD pipelines
