Job Details
Job Title: Program/Project Manager Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Day 1 Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Program/Project Manager with deep expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and a strong background in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading complex M&A initiatives, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive strategic alignment across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end M&A project management including due diligence, integration planning, and execution.
- Align M&A initiatives with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
- Apply Agile principles (Scrum and SAFe) to enhance project delivery, transparency, and adaptability.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Implement SAFe practices for large-scale projects to ensure cross-team collaboration.
- Maintain high-quality standards and ensure predictable project delivery.
- Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively.
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage budgets, resources, change control, testing, documentation, and training.
- Establish yourself as a go-to leader within IT for M&A initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years of recent project/program management experience.
- At least 4 years managing large-scale IT projects.
- Proven experience in M&A project leadership.
- Strong command of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and SAFe.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in an enterprise environment.
- Strong decision-making, risk assessment, and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Ability to guide cross-functional teams and remove obstacles to delivery.
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master s preferred).
- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
