RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking a Project Manager III.
Summary:
The Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (ePMO) oversees the intake, execution, and governance of strategic projects and programs spanning multiple departments. These initiatives focus on enhancing enterprise infrastructure, process efficiency, and cross-functional delivery.
The Project Manager I plays a key role in delivering internal projects on time, within scope, and on budget. Reporting to a senior leader, this position is responsible for managing smaller projects or supporting larger initiatives using standard project management principles such as stakeholder management, risk tracking, scheduling, and communication planning.
The role includes supporting internal initiatives such as onboarding programs, process improvements, and updates to training documentation. The Project Manager I also maintains accurate data within PPM systems, ensures centralized documentation, and delivers timely and accurate status reports. Project work will follow SDLC methodology and include proper documentation, execution tracking, and adherence to enterprise best practices.
Responsibilities:
* Manage small to mid-sized projects or components of larger programs
* Develop and maintain project schedules, task tracking, and resource assignments
* Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions
* Facilitate planning and define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics
* Ensure documentation is standardized and stored appropriately
* Support effective change management within established governance processes
* Drive project reporting and communicate progress with clarity and consistency
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability
* Conduct project reviews and post-implementation assessments
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent experience)
* 3+ years of experience managing small to mid-sized projects or supporting components of larger initiatives
* Background in a Managed Care Organization, healthcare consulting, or Medicaid/Medicare-focused projects
* Solid understanding of project management concepts and tools
* Ability to independently manage project workstreams and timelines
* Strong organization, planning, and documentation capabilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Skilled at working across departments and engaging stakeholders
* Comfortable with fast-paced, changing environments
* Familiarity with SDLC and enterprise project governance frameworks
* Ability to track budgets, schedules, and project milestones accurately
* Experience using PPM tools and maintaining central documentation repositories
* Ability to apply conflict resolution and motivate cross-functional teams
Preferred Certifications:
* Project Management Professional (PMP)
* Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
* Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
