OVERVIEW
There is an increasing demand for the provision of real-time payment services across every region of the world, and so the need to prevent fraud in such transactions is increasing. You will join the ARGO Fraud and Compliance LOB as Product Manager for Electronic Payments Fraud Detection, defining state of the art advanced AI products to help Financial Institutions detect and prevent fraud & scams, using scalable Machine Learning techniques such as Deep Learning, Transaction and Image Analysis. The Product Manger works with user groups on identification of future opportunities and contributes to requirements and quality control segments of the software manufacturing process. The Product Manger of Fraud and Compliance LOB as Product Manager for Electronic Payments Fraud will oversee the process of accelerated payments expand from traditional checks to ACH, Wires, and now economies around the globe are moving towards Real Time Payments (RTP), bringing substantial innovation and modernization to payments.
JOB SUMMARY
The Product Manager for Electronic Payments Fraud Detection will be responsible for leading the expansion of the fraud solution platform to include fraud detection and prevention for electronic payments including ACH, Wires, RTP, FedNow, Web and Mobile.
The Product Manager will take a lead role in commercializing the solution. In collaboration with the sales team, this includes the delivery of client pitches and demos, fostering client relationships, and the delivery of production projects with prospective clients.
A Product Manager s accountability includes product innovation, keeping the product suite competitive to market, customer, and compliance needs, and staying current with technology solution trends. The Product Manger identifies future opportunities and defines requirements for the software manufacturing process.
The Product Manager is a high customer contact position and must have credibility with customers ranging from end users to senior management. The position works directly with customers to communicate value to market, ensure implementation success, and build relationships with key customer managers.

EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCE
Product Manager Sr. is an expert level position that is able to work independently managing existing products and product related projects of moderate complexity. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Job duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Serve as the owner and strategic leader of the product.
  • Lead the creation of the strategic vision and plan for the product.
  • Accountable for the strategic go-to-market plan for the Electronic Payments Fraud Detection product.
  • Lead the functional design and execution of the Electronic Payment Fraud Solution product including:
    • Managing end-to-end execution of bringing solution to market (Inception - POC - MVP - Live)
    • Participating and providing business requirement input to the design and technology discussions.
    • Working with Product, Research, Engineering, UX teams to define product requirements and key features.
  • Lead client production delivery phases, including:
    • Managing and planning the phase of work
    • Working closely with the data science teams to deliver successful results.
    • Publication and presentation of findings and results back to clients.
    • Creation and publication of Cost Benefit models.
  • Lead product marketing commercialization efforts, including:
    • Delivering client presentations
    • Identifying opportunities and conversion into revenue
    • Maintaining market relationships


Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development and tactical plans and roadmap for the product.
  • Coordinate and manage product design and continuous enhancement.
  • Lead the preparation of requirements documents and business cases for the system and future enhancements.
  • Manage business-level testing and verification on all features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Communications on market strategy, target customer definition, key product benefits, product positioning and packaging.
  • Interact continually with customers to assess satisfaction levels and mitigate concerns.
  • Support the sales team with RFQ/RFP processes, presentations and demonstrations.
  • Demonstrate understanding of ARGO s value chain CRP3 (Customer Relationships & Satisfaction, Revenue Expansion, People Management & Development, Process Improvement, and Product Innovation) through actions and accomplishments.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor s degree in a STEM subject or related field is required for the position.
  • Experience in payment fraud, such as check, bank, wire or other payment fraud, required
  • Experience in ACH, Wire, Real-time/Faster Payments, and FedNow required.
    • Work experience should include:
      • Exposure to payment systems products and integration with fraud solutions.
      • Deep understanding of fraud in real-time payments and ability to quickly understand trends and opportunities.
      • Strong understanding of risk and controls related to real-time payments fraud, and regulatory compliance.
  • Successful product leadership and management of specified Line of Business
  • Management experience within Line of Business
  • Demonstrated success leading new and successful software systems into the market.
  • Proven track record of leading large business initiatives and delivering results throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, especially in the Feasibility, Requirements, and Analysis phases. Experience working in an Agile environment and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning is a positive.
  • Functionality of PC-based computerized applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Access, and Microsoft Project.
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time.

SKILLS

  • High degree of automation literacy (e.g., understanding of data constructs, automation logic capability, workflow, data analytics, and management reporting) to collaborate directly with Information Technology and Data Science teams.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Ability to direct, motivate and manage team members in a collaborative / team environment without direct report authority.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong project execution acumen.

The candidate will work at our corporate headquarters in Richardson, TX.
