Overview: ResiliEnt Business Solutions as contracted by the State of South Carlina is seeking a seasoned ADABAS Natural Programmer with a minimum of 6 years of experience. The role supports development and production maintenance for Retirement Claims and Financial Services systems, using the Eclipse/NaturalONE environment. Join a collaborative team with onsite senior developers, fostering mentorship and shared technical growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain applications using Natural in an ADABAS environment

  • Collaborate with business units and IT analysts to translate requirements into code

  • Support Retirement Claims and Financial Services systems

  • Participate in full development lifecycle: design, code, test, deploy, and maintain

  • Provide onsite mentoring and technical instruction to staff

  • Create and update technical documentation

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of Natural programming and ADABAS database experience

  • Proficient in NaturalONE/Eclipse development environment

  • Strong background in payroll/accounting/financial systems (Retirement Claims a plus)

  • Experience in production support and application troubleshooting

  • Skilled in mentoring and cross-functional team collaboration

  • Effective communicator with solid problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with JCL and both batch and online processing

  • Experience with technical documentation and version control

  • Exposure to legacy systems integration

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

  • Equivalent work experience will be considered.
