Job Details

The Operations Manager works to ensure both efficiency and quality across every aspect of the organization by
reducing or eliminating barriers to operational success while maximizing processes and procedures to streamline
workflows and meet customer expectations. They analyze and improve operational processes by identifying areas for
enhancement and implementing strategies to increase productivity and efficiency. Operations Manager skills include
managing project timelines and budgets, scheduling and planning tasks, setting goals, enhancing processes and
procedures, controlling quality management, and effectively communicating with various project teams and senior
management. The following is a high level overview of job responsibilities:

Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure to ensure continuous improvement
Participates in long-term planning, project status reporting, and change control processes
Manage data collection for reporting metrics to achieve productivity targets, eliminate errors, and deliver
excellent customer service
Manages objective testing and data validation prior to reporting findings and recommendations to key
stakeholders
Troubleshoot and remove blockers, improve policies, eliminate workflow bottlenecks, and boost productivity
Monitors and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics
Measure progress on critical goals and KPIs to help teams course-correct, as needed
Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and implement strategies
Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career
development plans for direct reports and problem resolution
Works closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions are
being properly executed
Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, internal teams, and external
vendors

Operations Manager should be comfortable with the below skills:
Analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Able to address operational concerns and monitor overall customer satisfaction
Experience developing and implementing operational procedures and policies
Experience in operating in high-pressure situations
Industry knowledge and an aptitude for learning new applications
Experience with budget development and oversight

Required Skills/Experience
Provide the minimum required skills and/or experience the contractor must possess to qualify for this position. These
requirements will be transferred to the Score Sheet and candidates without these requirements reflected on their resume will
NOT be presented to the manager for consideration.
Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in program management, business or public administration, technical management,
operations management, information systems, engineering, finance/accounting, or related fields
Two or more years of overall project management experience
Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role

Preferred/Not Required
Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples: Previous supervisory
experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.
Knowledge of Medicaid, SNAP, TANF and other such government programs
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Working knowledge of software programs, including ServiceNow, ADO, or related tools
