Oracle Fusion Technical Architect
Location: 5 days Onsite (as required), Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
Type: Contract , 24 months long - good long term contract
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Architect to lead the technical design and development efforts for a large-scale end-to-end Oracle Cloud ERP implementation, covering P2P, O2C, and Financials modules.
This role requires deep expertise across Oracle SaaS and PaaS platforms, strong architectural leadership, and hands-on technical capabilities. The Architect will work directly with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical developers to design scalable, integrated, and customized Oracle Fusion ERP solutions that meet enterprise-level requirements.
This is a key leadership role within the project and requires strong communication, solution design capabilities, and the ability to work across business and IT teams.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture for Oracle Cloud ERP solutions across Financials, P2P, and O2C.
- Design technical components and integrations to meet complex business and functional requirements.
- Develop custom reports, interfaces, extensions, and integrations using the Oracle Fusion tech stack.
- Manage data migration activities across modules using FBDI, ADFDI, HDL, and related tools.
- Provide hands-on development and deployment of Oracle Fusion SaaS/PaaS components.
- Collaborate closely with functional leads and business analysts to ensure technical alignment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Oracle Fusion ERP modules.
- Develop and review technical specifications, integration architecture, and solution design documents.
- Estimate technical effort, evaluate solution options, and create prototypes as needed.
- Ensure seamless integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and other Oracle PaaS services.
- Support SIT, UAT, CRP cycles, and production cutover preparation.
- Participate in release management, quarterly updates, and technical impact assessments.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the project.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of Oracle ERP technical experience.
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Deep expertise with Oracle Fusion technologies, including:
- FBDI, HDL, ADFDI
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- VBCS / VB Studio
- OTBI / BI Publisher (BIP)
- SQL, PL/SQL
- Strong programming experience with:
- Groovy scripting
- Java
- XML
- JSON
- Experience across Oracle Cloud modules:
- Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CE)
- SCM (P2P, O2C)
- HCM (preferred)
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS and OCI cloud services (ATP, DBCS, Kubernetes/containers).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to lead technical discussions with cross-functional teams and upper management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud Professional Certification(s)
- Experience managing or supporting Oracle quarterly updates and regression cycles
- Experience with:
- Security configuration (RBAC, custom roles)
- Page extensibility and Redwood UI customizations
- Experience designing performance-optimized integrations and data pipelines
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) language skills are a plus
