Location:
  • Rapid City, SD (100% on-site)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Configure and troubleshoot desktops, workstations, and laptops.
    • Provide support for Microsoft Office applications.
    • Act as the primary onsite IT contact for hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Deploy PCs and manage lifecycle support.
  • Project & Infrastructure Support:
    • Participate in integrated testing and user acceptance of applications and infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with vendors to integrate purchased applications and systems.
    • Design and implement process improvements for IT development and support.
  • Office Relocation Support:
    • Plan and execute IT setup for new workstations, conference rooms, and shared spaces.
    • Coordinate basic cabling for network and power.
    • Ensure full functionality of IT infrastructure in the new environment.
  • Virtual Reality Innovation Support:
    • Maintain and troubleshoot VR hardware and software systems.
    • Assist with updates, installations, and immersive technology configurations.
    • Support demonstrations, testing, and development activities in the VR space.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Liaise between the site and Global IT Services.
    • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors.
    • Provide clear documentation and regular updates on progress and issues.
  • Proactive Maintenance:
    • Conduct routine system checks and preventive maintenance.
    • Monitor performance and implement improvements.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible IT experience.
  • Strong knowledge of current hardware, software, and development tools.
  • Basic understanding of network and server support.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
